Satin Locks – Entrepreneurial Venture & Business Plan Competition
Satin Locks is a car accessory designed to protect hair while maintaining automotive aesthetics. This project was fully conceptualized, developed, and pitched as part of the Barney Business Plan Competition at the University of Hartford, where I secured 3rd place in a simulated investor pitch setting.
- Created and executed a full-scale business plan, including market analysis, competitive research, pricing strategy, and product development.
- Designed an investor pitch deck that communicated Satin Locks’ market potential and profitability.
- Presented to a panel of judges acting as faux investors, demonstrating business viability and securing recognition among 25 competitors.
Formula SAE Real-World Case Study
- Conducted a business case analysis on sustainable fuels and vehicle design in the automotive industry.
- Presented findings on alternative fuel adoption and supply chain integration for a Formula SAE project.
Nike Financial & Competitive Analysis
- Researched and analyzed Nike’s 10-K filings, assessing financial performance and market competition.
- Created data visualizations to communicate financial trends, net income fluctuations, and market share analysis.
- Examined Nike’s leadership shifts and impact on brand perception, innovation, and customer retention.
I personally wrote the initial Current Events Paper and worked with a group to create the Nike slide deck.
